Confine Milano, ranked among the world’s leading pizzerias, has reopened with newly designed interiors produced by Cantarutti. The project marks the introduction of HOORIA, designed by Andrea Steidl of / ÀR O / Design Studio and scheduled for launch in 2026: a collection defined by a precise study of proportions, with a curved backrest extending beyond the seat to create a distinctive and coherent profile. Designed to ensure ergonomics, stability and versatility, HOORIA integrates seamlessly into contemporary spaces, with optional upholstery for added comfort.

HOORIA is a collection that stems from a considered reflection on the meaning of contemporary seating, where form and function find a measured, unforced balance. It comprises both chair and stool and is defined by a curved backrest that extends the gesture of the structure into a continuous line, while the legs gently open towards the floor, establishing a stable yet light relationship with the surrounding space.
The quality of construction translates into a discreet presence, capable of combining strength and comfort without adding visual weight. Optional upholstery introduces a more welcoming dimension, subtly modulating the perception of the piece without altering its essential character. Stackable by design, HOORIA responds precisely to the requirements of contract and food & beverage environments, where repetition must never become anonymity and functionality must always be supported by a clear identity.

It is a seating system that adapts without ever fully disappearing into its context. In more dynamic settings, it follows the rhythm of everyday use; in more intimate spaces, it establishes a measured presence, contributing to the overall quality of the environment. Finishes play a decisive role in this balance: the deep, material tones typical of Cantarutti’s palette, such as mahogany and walnut, interact with upholstered surfaces, opening up a wide range of interpretations.
Through these choices, HOORIA can take on different, almost contrasting characters: becoming a discreet, sophisticated element, or a more assertive and contemporary statement. These are not superficial variations, but a subtle work on material and colour, allowing the design to renew itself without losing coherence, maintaining its identity over time.

Confine Milano is one of the most innovative references in Milan’s contemporary dining scene. Ranked among the world’s best pizzerias, it has achieved top positions in international listings such as the 50 Top Pizza guide, reaching as high as fourth place globally and consistently placing among the best in Italy. In recent months, it has also gained significant international attention following a mention by actor and food advocate Stanley Tucci, who highlighted its pizza during a globally followed event.
