Matter, is a question of design. A question of real, visible design. The strength of a line is the result of matter moulded in its image. You touch it. It draws your eye. It attracts you, giving shape to an abstraction, the intagible becomes tangible. Matters. The essence of ideas. The essence. The veining. The smell. Wood is a living matter, extremely precious, and gives itself to the human being in the name of an abstract pureness. Respected, celebrated and described through design. A story of matter and measure. Design according to Cantarutti.
The attitude. Innate. So natural and so indefinable at the same time. Acquired. Simultaneously intuitive and analytic. It is always a correspondence. To an imagined image, revealed between light and shadow. A thought-out idea, designed with essential lines. For a purpose, requested or refined, effective in its realisation. The brilliant lightness of someone or somethings attitude surprises and captures. Our attention is fascinated by it, for its simplicity, its intrinsic ability to know how to be. Proportion, iconic design, conceptual elegance. Classic memory and stylistic innovation. Thin details meet strong but moderate lines. And the function is completed in a collection with a strong personality. Armchair, stackable chair and stool with beech structure. Seat and back in wood or upholstered in fabric or leather, available in a wide colour palette. Signed by the well-known Venetian designer Enzo Berti, Cantarutti presents: Yumi.
A graceful elegance with a solid and authentic character. Designed by Enzo Berti, Yumi is a collection which reinterprets a classic shape, resulting in a soft and timeless appeal. Made of beech, the family consists of a stackable chair, armchair and stool with seat and back in wood, also available upholstered to ensure maximum comfort. In the armchair, back and armrests are made from a single element in curved solid wood, crowning the frame and allowing, if necessary, to place it on the table top, lifting it off the floor. With its reassuring aesthetics and the wide choice of finishes, Yumi is a collection that can complete any type of environment in both residential and public contexts.
